OSCAR ZULU brings together six of Brisbane’s most exciting musicians & performers, creating their own tantalising blend of soulful jazz, blues, pop rock & latin grooves. Fronted by vocalists Tina Fullerton & Michelle Phillips (from piano/bass/vocal duo Chi’ca-Chi’ca), their rich harmonic tapestry & soulful interpretations are perfectly complimented by some of Brisbane’s finest musicians, including the versatile & unique stylings of bassist Nick Quigley & guitarist Warwick Hargreaves – both from the popular jazz trio Azul. Drummer Dave Cotgreave of Jazz Australis acclaim provides the dynamic drive behind Oscar Zulu’s appeal, with the exceptional talent of saxophonist Rafael Karlen completing the musical landscape. These passionate & professional musicians aim to create the perfect backdrop to that special event or function.
